Blog Stats 2011 April - June

Three months ago I shared my blog stats for the very first time. Boy, I've come a long way since then. The number of my followers on GFC jumped from 62 to 403 since the end of March. I also installed the Networked Blogs widget which adds a few more followers, some of which are also following through GFC.

As far as page views go, they have evidently been skyrocketing in the past months, mostly thanks to the Giveaway Hops I've been participating in. And just look at the "drought" before I started to blog daily last December. In the begining I had about as many page views per month as I have now each day. Though, like I said, I blogged maybe once a week back then.

Last month I reached the amazing number of (not quite, but almost) 4.000 page views and while I usually get anything between 50 and 100 page views a day, I had to look twice when I saw that I managed to get more than 850 in one day too, though admittedly I can blame the fact of having two big giveaways up at the same time for this unbelieveable number.

Top Ten (all time):
Midsummer's Eve Giveaway Hop
200 Followers Giveaway
Splash Into Summer Giveaway Hop
Hoppy Easter Eggstravaganza Blog Hop
Review - Sister Species (Lisa A. Kemmerer)
Pajama Musings - Who the hell is Anton Yelchin?
Review - The Tao Of Travel (Paul Theroux)
Review - My Business Is To Create (Eric G. Wilson)
Review - Malled (Caitlin Kelly)
Interview and Giveaway with Patricia V. Davis

Not all that surprisingly it's the giveaways that are responsible for the most pageviews, but sharp on its heels there are a number of really popular reviews too. And, obviously, I'm not the only one who's been wondering about Anton Yelchin.

Most page views by country (all time)

Lots of things happened in my own little blogosphere since I started book blogging on a daily basis. Still there is room for improvement and I should really get a blog button one of these days. And while I've been contemplating creating a Facebook page for my blog I've just been too lazy to actually do so. Here's to a blog button and a Facebook fanpage in the (hopefully) near future!
