If this keeps happening, I might call it cheating :)) I ordered my first book on booksneeze last year but it didn't arrive, so I guess I am through with them, which might be a good sign, since there are already so many books to be read and so little time...

DeleteApropos BookSneeze, it often takes forever for books to arrive (up to six weeks, though this one was actually pretty quick with only a month) and one time a book got lost in the mail, but customer service was really helpful and sent the eBook instead. They do have great non fiction titles every now and then, so a few times a year I will end up requesting a book through them.

Not sure about the Schuhbeck. I kind of liked his shows together with Elmar Wepper because they were such a good team on TV but lately I hear the guy is just out for money and not such a great person after all.

Amazing, isn't it? Before my ban I didn't have an IMM every week, and now ... the universe is definitely shining a light on my bookshelves!
DeleteAbout Schuhbeck - I never watched any of the shows, the book though looks pretty neat with lots of background info on his culinary travels. As to the cooking, I'll have to find someone to do that for me, as I'm such a lazy bum in the kitchen.
