The Postman Files - Let's splurge a little!

Once upon a little splurge ... first, at AwesomeBooks where I found a couple of cozy mysteries which I needed to add to my already staggering pile of, you may have already guessed, more cozy mysteries!
And then along came the Amazon Kindle Fall Sale and let it be said, I behaved! Truthfully, I did. I mean, only four books!? That's willpower! Oh, yeah, right, and one tiny little freebie sneaked in too! But hey, just one! Willpower, remember?

And appropriate for the upcoming holiday season some holiday-themed zombie stories!

    1. I bet you'll enjoy the Coffeehouse Mysteries by Cleo Coyle which is a fantastic series! Admittedly I'm a bit on the fence about the Booktown Mysteries of which I've already read two books - hopefully I'll finally warm up to the main protagonist.

    1. Oh no, that's horrible! Do you think the post office messed things up and made your packages "disappear"?

    2. more stolen that misplaced since end of august it's 5 on 7 packages that never arrived ( and letters)
1 arc i was waiting with joy, a book 1 pre order end of 2011 ( so you imagine how much i wanted it)and 2 won ( and letters)

i'm afraid because end of last year was also a bit the same since october( like i can't be sure to receive something between august and may)

    3. You should really complain to the post office about that! I mean, one or two books might disappear over the course of a year, but so many? There is definitely something wrong here.

    4. That where resides the problem ç_ç i've tried and tried agai n but they don't want to take my complain .
They want a number but that number existe only on mail send in the country not from outside and when there is one from outside ( ex a number from the French Piost- the system are not compatible so until the frontier ok and then zap disappear-

i had to buy again several of the book and it's starting to cost a lot ( and as a student it's even harder) and of course i can't remplace a signed book either from november 2011 to now it's 12things ( books and 4 letters with swag or not) that never arrived
you can imagine how that's starting to make me despair. At least bookdesiposit send a remplacement for one book but i 'm afraid it will not arrive ( and the others i'm waiting ç_ç) it's becoming really stressful
the only one i coyuld still complain is the ministre ( if i manage to find the right one)

also i'm waiting a important letter for my additional course i want to follow ( limited places) still nothing and it start in 2weeks

    5. That's bad! I mean there are countries where I would be worried about mail disappearing, but certainly not Belgium. Keeping my fingers crossed that your complaints will finally reach the right person and that something is being done about this!

  3. Again, I am so glad I cannot order from Awesome books because they do not ship to Romania, and yet, my wishlist is getting longer and longer, but with just one book bought this month, I think I am reaching a record here :)) happy reading, Birgit!

    1. When they include Romania it will be interesting to see how your bookshelves will start to bend, hahaha!
